DETERGENT REMOVING GEL 452-02-22 10 ml slurry 50% 104.00

100 ml slurry 50% 633.00

Affinity Gel

Detergent removing gel has a very low capacity for protein

and extraordinary high capacity for detergents commonly

employed for solubilization of membrane proteins. The

principle of the gel is a combination of a powerful detergent

binding ligand attached to a small pore matrix which excludes

proteins having a molecular weight greater than 10,000.

Protein/detergent samples in buffer compositions having a

pH from 3 to 10 are efficiently stripped of detergent using

the gel. The presence of at least 100 uM phosphate and/or

200 uM NaCl in sample buffer will greatly enhance detergent

binding to the gel.
